Presenting my family members in work =D

It’s almost 8 months I’ve been here. Alhamdulillah I’m happy with my current company and work as well..:)

This picture taken in Bangsar seafood village two months ago.. Our big boss coming from UK and an asual, there will be a “makan-makan” session..

and today we had a farewell lunch for one colleague who migrate to Germany office & birthday celebration for Donal. Let’s see the picture of us..*wink*

**Picture credited to Mr. R and Mr.E

Today rasa rajin pulak nak menaip kat sini..aneh bukan? saya boleh jadi rajin terlampau atau mungkin mengalami kemalasan tahap maxima mengikut keadaan..kalo korang tak caye, tengok la nanti..mesti akan ada sampai berbulan-bulan saya tak update blog..hihi..OK, anyway hari ni nak citer pasal negara kota Singa pulak..pada sape2 yg bercadang nak melawat Singapura mungkin boleh dijadikan panduan untuk percutian anda..anyway flite ke Singapore hari tu sangat lah awal pagi..huhu..tido pun tak cukup..kul 5.30 AM dah boarding time..maklumlah nak tiket murah punye pasal..so, dalam 45 minit dah sampai Changi air port..

Hari pertama

First thing yg kitorg buat bila sampai sana adalah cari tempat makan. Since flite awal sangat, perut pun jadi lapar..so, tempat yg paling sesuai utk breakfast kat airport adalah McD..Tadaaa..sedap, murah & halal..untuk 2 org makan kosnya adalah SGD11.50..

Sementara tunggu check in hostel jam 11.30 pagi, kami pun lepak lah secara lama kat McD sambil merancang jadual perjalanan 3 hari di sini..around 9.30 am kitorg pun terus ke MRT station. .Destinasi kami adalah  Bugis street..haa nak senang ke mana2, beli je tourist pass which is SGD8 per day..boleh naik any public transport (MRT, LRT, Bus) within singapore except sentosa express..so, 3 days pass adalah SGD24 & kena bayar deposit extra SGD10..nanti boleh refund balik deposit nya..dari Changi station ke Bugis station ambik masa lebih kurang 40 minit..Jalan kaki lebih kurang 10 minutes, dah sampai hostel..kali ni malas nak stay kat hotel sb nak bajet..so, nih dia hostel nye..easy as ABC, ABC backpackers namanya..private room per nite is SGD55..memang strategik area..nearby Bugis street, Arab street & Kampung Glam..

After Zohor, next destination adalah Esplanade & Singapore flyers! Ini memang must places to visit in Singapore..Jom tengok apa yg ada kat sini..

anyway sila abaikan photo2 gediks di atas ye..tujuan utama adalah semata-mata nak tunjuk kat korang tempat yg menarik di esplanade..hihi

Hari Kedua

Yeah..Hari yang ditunggu-tunggu iaitu mengexplore sentosa island!! Destinasi kali ni adalah vivo city, Universal Studio & Siloso beach..had so much fun here…tp yg paling aku takleh lupa ialah our first ride “The revenge of the mummy”..Huh demn scary! mula2 memang no idea pasal benda alah ni..nampak ramai je org duk queue..so teringin la jugak nak try.. bila masuk je dah rasa cam kat dunia lain..ala2 dlm pyramid giza yg penuh dengan misteri..hm agak lama la jugak kena berjalan..sampai satu tahap ada satu monitor tertulis..”This is a high speed roller coaster..”..erks..belum abes aku baca ayat tuh, terus rasa menggelabah..aku pandang muka kwn aku, kwn aku pandang aku..dah terlambat utk patah balik..hahaha..rasakan! memang kena naik roller coster..jeng3 roller coster pun bergerak..one row ada 4 org..aku duk tepi belah kanan..sebelah kwn aku ada aci tua dgn anak lelaki nye yg dh besar..mak aih, mula2 slow je gerak..kiri kanan ade tengkorak & mumia & etc yg menakutkan..ibarat kita tengah main game..siap ade effect lagi terkena percikan api or air..tetibe roller coster menghala ke satu pintu gua yg dah nak hampir tertutup..bergerak laju tapi tak sempat nak lalu..”Gangg” tertutup..then satu suara yg kuat dan nyaring..”There’s no way to exit from here..hahahahahaha”.. dan time tu jugak roller coster dengan secara lajunye bergerak ke arah belakang secara tinggi rendah ala2 mencari jalan keluar..pastu jalan tersekat, gerak ke depan balik dengan secara laju jugak, then kebelakang lagi..huwaaaa aku tatau nak gambarkan camne perasaan takut. boleh diibaratkan jantung gugur ke tanah & aku kutip balik..memang kitorg menjerit sepanjang masa sambil tutup mata sebab tak rela tengok mumia yg menakutkan di kiri kanan..sambil2 tuh aku sempat lg dengar aci kat sebelah menjerit gak..anak lelaki dia lak tak abes2 “Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”..hahaha..lawak giler..lepas tu bila dah dekat nak sampai jalan keluar..ade suatu suara lagi bercakap “This is only beginning..”..huh time tu aku dah pasrah dah..duk terbayang kat depan tu mcm2 halangan2 mumia lagi..tapi rupa2 nye roller coster dah sampai penghujungnyaa..kasik saspen je diorg ni..keluar je dari roller coster tu aku sgt bersyukur sb masih hidup..kaki pulak shaking..hahah..lepas game tuh, kitorg dah pobia dah nak try game lain..kalo diorg kata “High end roller coaster” konpem tak berani nak masuk..hihi..ok lah malas nak citer panjang just letak gambar je lah ye..Hee

Oh lupa nak bagitau, tiket USS adalah SGD 66, tapi aku dapat half price sebab officemate dari S’pore yg belikan.. 😉 then, harga tiket singapore flyers adalah SGD 29..

Hari ketiga

Last day di Singapore..since flite petang, masih byk masa lagi utk jalan2..so, hari ke 3 decide nak jalan2 kat Chinatown, Little India & orchard Road..Sebelum tuh, lunch di restoran haji Maimunah kat Jalan Pisang..kedai ni glemer tahu..sedap & murah..tapi takleh lawan masakan malaysia…mmg superb!! hee..time nih memang kaki dah sakit2 sebab penat berjalan..namun destinasi berikutnya harus diteruskan jugak..kalo tak, nyesal tak sudah nanti..so as usual, some pictures taken at Chinatown & orchard road area..

banyak lagi story & picture nak share tapi tak larat dah..mata dah ngantuk..sambung esok la yek..Jom tido Jom..Goodnite uols 😀

GuangZhou Trip

Hello beautiful readers!

It’s been a while since I spoke here..being busy is a must but I guess laziness is the main factor to stop me from babbling.. Em  nothing much to say, just wanna share my first business trip experience last month..It was an awesome and exhausted trip. Honestly, I have never been abroad before. So, China is my first destination and this is first time I’m travelling alone. Kinda nervous but excited! Who doesn’t right?? 😛

So, on the departure day, I took taxi from my house to KLIA about 5.30AM and the flight take off at 9.35 morning. The journey from KLIA to Guangzhou is about 4 hours. While waiting for the flight, I was looking around, tried to see if there’s any lone ranger like me, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Most of the passengers are in group and tell you what, there’s no Malay in this trip! I was the only one and people keep looking at me. Might be strange for them to see one little girl wearing scarf and about to off to China. The funny thing here, one stewardess asking me this question..

“Study kat China yek??” I say NO

“Oo..kalo camtu, datang melawat eh?” I say No, I come here for business trip..

“Oh okay..”

Then she just smiles..

About 2 PM, I arrived at Baiyun airport. I was looking around and everything is different. At this moment, the nervous feeling turns to be scared feeling! Gosh, I’m alone in a foreign country now and the worse is people here speak Mandarin. They don’t speak English. Since nobody is picking me up from the airport, I have to find a taxi. I tell myself, be brave!  After got my luggage, I walked into the Information Counter.

“Ni hao, do you speak English?” asked me..

“Ni hao, how can I help you?” (Please read in Chinese accent)

“Could you please tell me how to get a taxi from here? “

“Err..I don’t really know how to speak English..but Taxi? Em..you go this way and turn right..”

“Sie- sie”

There goes my first conversation.  Without further any delay, I walking into taxi pick-up area and approached one taxi driver.

“Ni hao, do you speak English? I want to go to Landmark Hotel”

“English?? Er, wopucitau..” That uncle just smiling..*garu kepala*

And there goes my second conversation. Haish, very difficult to communicate here. Luckily I printed the hotel address (My colleague had advise me to print all the address in Chinese so that I just can show it to taxi driver)..

“Oo..wo citau..” That’ s what the taxi driver said after I gave him the address.. 😛

The journey from Baiyun airport to Landmark hotel took about half and hour. Not that far but then, 30 minutes just like 1 hour for me. OMG, tell you what, the taxi drivers here are so aggressive. I wonder how they drive the car. It was like riding a roller coaster..Thanks God I arrived hotel safely.  Previously I thought Malaysian taxi drivers are  rude but at this point, I should throw them a compliment..hehe~

Speaking about hotel,  yes I love it..

weather?

Yes, it was winter but at that time the temperature still OK, not so cold and not that hot. The daily is about 16-23 degrees and night about 6-10 degrees. But of course you still need to wear winter cloth jacket.

and talking about foods??

Oh man..it’s crap! I mean it so difficult for Muslim to find halal foods. Everywhere they serve pork. I know China is the most Muslim population in the world but not this area. I had my first dinner at Pizza Hut restaurant but I don’t really enjoy the foods after I noticed that there was pizza with pork flavor in their menu..Damn 😛

Second day, I went to client office. Here, the challenge is begin. It’s time for reports deployment.  Ugh, I don’t want to talk much about work here. ..working with China people was not easy.  They simply change requirement anytime they want. . They don’t care about earlier requirement and UAT Sign off. Once they said “B”, they want “B” and once they requested, we have to get it done. What can I say here “Kerja bagai nak giler”..hahaha..I worked on Saturday and there was one day we stayed back until 2 AM in order to solve the issues. Crazy bukan? That’s why my colleague said to me “Welcome to China!!” But after all, I was grateful that I able to complete the task and solved the ad hoc issue..From what I heard, the customer are satisfied with our support during site commissioning 🙂

With extra workload & challenge that I faced, I didn’t notice how fast time flies. .sekejap je 10 hari berlalu. This picture is taken on our last day in client office..see my happy face, tak sabar nak balik Malaysia..Hee 😀

I’m off now. The rest I will let pictures do the talking =D
