Hello peeps! Greeting from Venice 😉

OK, Just kidding. I’m back in KL now. Hihi. It’s been a month since my trip to Europe. Arghh..the feeling still great! I would like to share some photos taken in Venice. Enjoy 😀

Setahun yg lepas patutnya entry ni tapi baru ada chance nak post. Maklumlah penyakit malas asyik menyinggah. Cerita pun sudah basi kan, tapi tak apa lah janji korang boleh buat reference kalo nak pergi Korea nanti. Haha

Sedikit recap. The next day we went to Busan for 2 days. Boleh refer entry ni pulak https://elixadexelia.wordpress.com/2012/09/12/budget-trip-to-korea-busan/ . So lepas balik dari Busan we back to Seoul again. Yeahh!! That’s the plan.

Sampai je Seoul pagi tuh, we all terus ke Zaza Backpackers, our guesthouse for the remaining days in Korea. Boleh check website nya http://zazabackpackers.com/ for the details. I super love this guesthouse!! It is an easy walk to Seoul’s most famous attractions like Namsan TowerMyeong dongDongdaemun Market and many more. Dan yang paling best a cute & clean house with affordable price & friendly staff (The guy staff is cute too!). *wink*

Mana lagi kalo bukan Menara cinta Seoul, Namsan Tower! Hehe. A must visit place in Seoul. Before that kami singgah kat Paris Baguette Cafe dulu untuk brunch. Lapar sangat tapi kat situ boleh makan roti & kek je. Tuh pun korang kena pandai-pandai pilih takut terpilih yg ada cik ba.. haa korang sambung la sendiri perkataan tu 😛

Fotor070710477Lepas makan kenyang2, kitrg pun terus ke Namsan tower. Dekat je dari guesthouse tapi agak penat la jugak sebab jalan nak ke sana berbukit-bukit & banyak tangga pulak tuh..kalo korang nak tahu di Korea ni memang banyak jalan berbukit-bukit camni, rumah pun banyak on the top hill.

Penat-penat pun kitorg berjaya jugak sampai ke Seoul Tower. Agak luas jugak area Namsan tower nih.Memang macam dalam drama lagi sekali view sangat cantik kat sini. Arghh tak boleh nak describe tapi feeling nya lain tau. Dapat jugak kitrg tengok sendiri love locks tree, museum bear & cultural performance. Happy sangat! 😀

Maklumlah Mim Alif Lam Sim. Haha

Finally sampai jugak di JakartaSuppose nita came with me but dia kena pergi London la pulak.. So, only me with another friend je yang pergi. Sampai je di airport terus amik gambar sambil menunggu pak supir datang pick up. lol

When I was in Bangkok, I felt KL’s traffic jam is nothing compare to Bangkok’s traffic-jam but this time, Jakarta’s traffic is heavier than Bangkok! Serius macet banget. The day we landed soekarno hatta international airport was a legend. Hihi

Sampai je Ancol, kitorang makan siang dulu. Lapar gila sebab dari pagi tak makan. Bila di Jakarta, semestinya kena try makanan orang sana dan teh botol jangan dilupa ya. For me, rasanya tasty! Enak di minum tambah2 tengah cuaca panas 🙂 Di ancol, kitorang just jalan2, foto, masuk seaworld Indonesia & naik gondola Ancol to see the view from the top.

Kesian pak supir jam satu pagi kalo tak silap dia sampai rumah selepas hantar kitrg malam tu. haha. Anyway ni hotel yang kita stay kt Kemang. I like this area, memang happening ala2 Bukit Bintang walk kalo di KL 😉

Fotor0706152713

Actually ada reason why we choose Kemang area. Sebab nya kita nak try makanan kat restoran Baim Wong & restoran Dude Harlino 😛 Walking distance je dari hotel but we have no luck. Both Baim Wong & Teuku Wisnu tak ada pulak. Tapi tak apa lah, janji food nya sedap. Nih food yg kita order kat Publo restoran. Bukan nak memuji lebih-lebih sebab pemiliknya artis tapi serius makanan kat sini sedap. Hehe

Esoknya pulak pegi ke Tanah Abang, Taman Mini Indonesia, ronda2 kat shopping mall, Monumen Nasional (MONAS) & malam nya pulak singgah di restoran Miya81 sushi steak house di area hotel. Pemiliknya adalah pelakon sinetron Dude Harlino & the gang..So unlucky, dia pun tak ada kat restoren nya sebab sibuk shooting di area lain. Sebelum balik, sempat kitorg sembang dengan pekerja-pekerja kat situ..siap suruh kirim salam dari Kuala Lumpur buat teuku wisnu..haha..anyway nih antara makanan yang kitrg order kat Miyabi restoren. Thumbsup memang sedap. Kalo korang pergi Jakarta jangan lupa singgah restoran ni tau..Selain di Kemang Jakarta Selatan, ada lagi branch lain di Jakarta Barat kalo tak silap. For me next time kalo pegi Jakarta memang nak pergi lagi sini 🙂

Till we meet again in the next post! Have a nice weekend peeps.

Well..this is my first post in June 2013. *clap clap clap*

Long time no blog huh..Does anyone miss me here? 😛  Okay, let’s talk about things to do in Bandung. I was in Indonesia last month for holidays and now would like to share some pictures. If you have a plan to visit Bandung, here are the must-go-places that you should put into your list 😉

1) Tangkuban Parahu, the amazing volcano in west Java. Go early morning since this place quite far from the town (About 2 hours driving). It’s beautiful. Just enjoy the view and cold weather here.

Tips: There are some people with tag will approaching you and willing to help to take pictures, give explanation and bla bla bla. Avoid them if possible. They are not helping you for free! At the end, they will ask you to buy some stuff from them and I tell you what, it’s expensive!

2) Warung Nasi Saung Pengkolan 2. You will see this restaurant on the way back from Tangkuban Parahu. Nice sunda food & the price is so cheap. Must try! And you will enjoying the view of tea garden at the back of restaurant.

3) Ciater hotspring. A good place to relax after a long journey. If you love sports and outdoor activities, maybe can try flying fox, ATV go kart, camping site, elephant riding and etc. For person like me, I just enjoying the hotspring!

Tips: An ice cream seller will approaching you once you arrived here. He will explain and show you all the places in Ciater hot spring. He did for free just at the end of tour, he will ask you whether want to buy the ice cream. No harm if you help him. Having an ice cream would be lovely too!  *Kesian pakcik tu tau 😦 *

And do not forget, try the horse riding. Only Rp 20000 for one round.

4) Pasar Baru Trade Center. A shopping heaven, wide range of products ranging from textile, garments, shoes to souvenirs, food and locally produced decor items. Beware of the pick pocket. Too many people here!

Ouch, my eyes getting tired. Time to sleep peep. I’ll see yo soon here!

Hello my reader =)

Have a great day! Seems like I’m so free to update my not-so-famous-blog. I was away from office since an uninvited visitor came to me. Yes, I was sick for 3 days because of this influenza virus. It started with running nose on my last day in Bangkok and the night flight back to KL was terrible. Pressure terlalu tinggi sampai telinga rasa macam nak pecah . Then the next day which is the day I suppose back to work I officially sick. Time for MC right? 😛

OK enough about sick. Now I’m so excited to share my first experience riding an elephant!! Tadaaaa look at our faces. Happy mak mak 🙂

DSC_0071

Above picture taken in Nong Nooch Village, Pattaya. We paid THB 400 per person for this riding and I tell you what, it was awesome! Definitely an unforgettable experience. Some fact about elephants. They can live to be over 70 years and our elephant is about 40 years old (Right side). Wow quiet old actually. Huhu. Thinking of how they trained the elephant made me heartbreaking 😦 I just read somewhere about a long-time tradition in the Thai culture. The Phajaan or crush, is the training method elephants undergo to become a part of the tourism industry. As young elephants, they are torn from their mothers and entrapped in a small confine, then ritualistically abused with bullhooks and bamboo sticks spiked with nails, as well as starved, deprived of sleep and worse, to crush their spirits and become submissive to humans. Oh man, this is horrible 😦

Anyway for those who love travelling, come and visit Nong Nooch Garden, it’s an experience you’ll never forget. More shows such as Thai cultural & dance show, the amazing elephant show, sports car collection and botanical gardens are waiting for you here.

Click on their official website http://www.nongnoochgarden.com/ for more details.

Recently I managed to visit the original floating market in Thailand. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is located in Ratchaburi about 109 kilometres south of Bangkok or approximately 2 hours drive. The Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of vendors and purchasers floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying or exchanging their goods. We arrived there quite early around 9 am. So it wasn’t too crowded at that time. Well, it was an unique and unforgettable experience, more or less how I expected it to be. Sitting in a boat around the market, watching people selling goods while capture every single moment with my Nikon. How amazing the old ladies still can rowing the boats. Not an empty boat people but a boat full with a group of tourist. You just imagine, they are awesome. I salute them 😉 Anyway, everything is expensive here and you don’t want to shop unless you speak their language. Try to bargain if you can but seriously it’s not that easy. I still remember when one of my friend wanted to buy something with an old lady. She started to bargain but the old lady replied her like this.

“Madam, screw me. This is Thai silk. Cheaper already. No discount madam. screw me.”

OMG. We were laughing out loud. How on earth this screw word came? Hahahahaha…

Trust me, this is a beautiful of travelling. There’s always a funny story behind the scene. 🙂

I better stop talking now. Please allow me to post some valuable photos of scenery at Damnoen Saduak floating market.

So, if you come to Thailand don’t miss out this place! Come here and experience the uniqueness of floating market.
